Water Damage Restoration

Water damage restoration is the process of cleaning up water damage left behind by a flood or other water-based catastrophe. Water damage refers to a range of potential losses resulting from water penetrating an area in which it can cause an attack of a particular biological material or mechanical system by non-chaotic processes including the growth of mold, rotting of lumber, rusting of metals, de-lamination of building materials like wood, mildew growth, swelling of building materials like plywood, mildew, and others. In terms of structural water damage, water penetration into wood framing and interior walls causes buckling, warping, and the cracking of the wood. In the case of both interior and exterior walls, foundation creep is a common problem that also causes structural damage to the foundation.
